How To Decorate around a Floral Duvet
Stop! Read this important announcement before you throw away your brand new duvet cover. You went out looking for a duvet cover and ended up deciding upon a floral duvet. Only problem is when you got back home you where terribly disappointed that nothing seemed to go with your lovely floral duvet cover set. Now you have two choices. Either change a few things around to support the new, brighter, more exotic look that comes with owning a floral duvet or get rid of your brand new duvet queen set, which we both know isn't going to happen anytime soon. So here are a few tips for decorating around a floral duvet.
When attempting to decorate around a floral comforter cover set it is important to think natural and bright. The best way to do this is starting from the ground up. Personally I believe starting off with a beautiful white wool rug is best. There is nothing better than the feel of wool against your feet. Also having a nice bright wool rug really can bring out the colors of your bedroom.
Remember to think natural. Take a good look around your room. Now it's time to give your bedroom set a more natural feel to help accommodate for that beautiful duvet of yours. One nice fern would really help out. If you decide to go with more plant life this is up to you but remember that it is possible to go overboard, and believe me you don't want your company thinking that they are walking into a jungle when they step in your bedroom. Brighten things up a bit. This can be the toughest part of all. Especially if the bedroom you are trying to decorate happens to be in an apartment. But it can be done, just remember the brighter the better. The best way to start out is with a nice bright paint job. Yellows,oranges, and even a light green can give your bedroom that exotic look you are going for. Try to stay away from darker colors like browns and even white can jeopardise your bedroom appeal and change a once extravagant bedroom into a designer don't. If you follow these steps as closely as possible then you can't possibly go wrong.
